Two Wheels on the Track Less Travelled
Day 1 - Overnight Flight
The adventure begins as you board your overnight flight to Yangon!
Day 2 - Yangon
Once you touch down at Yangon airport, you will be greeted by your guide who will transfer you to your hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore.
Day 3 - Yangon
Today you'll explore the city of Yangon with your guide. You'll take a stroll down lanes filled with the country's best preserved colonial buildings and along leafy boulevards as you walk past the old Post Office, High Court and City Hall - remnants from the days of British rule.
Then it's finally time to get in the saddle as you continue your exploration. Head to the river island to see the famous, all-dominating, Shwedagon Pagoda before riding to Kandawgyi Lake and back to the hotel to rest up.
Day 4 - Yangon - Inle Lake
The beautiful Inle Lake awaits you today. You'll transfer to the airport for a short hop to Heho, and then onto your hotel.
In the afternoon, feel free to cycle around the area and take in its outstanding scenery.
Day 5 - Inle Lake - Kalaw
It's a full day on the bike, cycling from Nyaung Shwe to leafy Kalaw, a former British hill station with a distinct, unusual, Anglo-inspired theme.
The ride is stunning. Shan state is relatively new to tourists and its untouched, authentic, nature is noticeable in everything you see.
En route you'll stop at Indein and Aungban, and for a bite to eat.
Day 6 - Kalaw - Mt Popa
Fuel up with some breakfast and embark on your next cycle from Kalaw to Payangazu. Once you arrive, transfer to Mount Popa via Meiktila and stop off for some sightseeing.
Tonight you'll stay overnight at the best resort with views of the stunning Mount Popa.
Day 7 - Mt Popa - Bagan
Today you'll tackle Mount Popa itself - the sacred home of the spirits and cycle on to the magical city of Bagan and it's 3000 temples.
Taking in incredible views all along the route before finishing at a beautiful pagoda for sunset.
Day 8 - Bagan - Pakokku
Enjoy unrivaled views from another pagoda during sunrise, then hop back on the bike to visit more of the famous Bagan temples. After a spot of lunch, transfer to Pakokku where you will be staying.
Day 9 - Pakokku - Monywa
Cycle through the countryside and rustic villages of Pakokku and then transfer to the famous Hpo Win Taung caves for a look around.
In the afternoon, continue onto to Monywa where you will stop for a well-earned rest and dinner.
You're well off the tourist trail now, so don't be surprised if you find yourselves somewhat of a novelty to the locals, they don't see many western faces!
Day 10 - Monywa - Sagaing
This morning you'll climb the world's second tallest standing Buddha, an astonishing and bizarrely located monument that dominates the surroundings.
Then, cycle on to Myinmu and stop on the banks of Ayeyarwaddy for lunch. In the afternoon, it's on to the former royal capital of Sagaing. The day ends with a view of the sunset at the Pagoda hills.
Day 11 - Sagaing - Mandalay
After breakfast, visit the Sagaing Bridge and then transfer to Innwa and another ancient capital, Amarapura for some more sightseeing.
After lunch, it's back on your bike to majestic Mandalay.
If the weather's good, You'll witness another legendary sunset at Mandalay hill.
Mandalay is full of dining and drinking options, so you can see out your last night in style!
Day 12 - Overnight Flight
Alas, your biking adventure has come to an end. Enjoy some free time in Mandalay before heading to the airport for your onward flight home.
