The Mutiara Taman Negara Eco Park Resort is set in a glorious ancient forest in the Taman Negara National Park.

It’s a great destination for travellers looking to get close to nature; there are no luxurious amenities here. Just the basics to keep you comfortable while you explore this incredible conservation area.

As you travel through, you’ll see a range of flora and fauna. Look out for Sambar deer, mouse deer and even porcupines!

Both the chalets and bungalows here are made of wood, giving them an earthy feel that keeps you close to nature. Each has its own balcony, so you can marvel at this incredible scenery even after all of your activities are over for the day.

You also have the option of pitching a tent here, instead of a chalet or bungalow. After a few days in the jungle, we know which one we’d pick!

You might think that finding food in the rainforest would be difficult, but the resort’s Seri Mutiara Restaurant serves food from around the world, all with fresh and ecologically-farmed local ingredients.

The resort team is happy to help organise activities for you while you’re in the park. Go on a night jungle walk, try the canopy walk, take a boat cruise to Lata Berkoh and head down the rapids for a great way to finish the day.
