Fernkloof Lodge, Hermanus

Introduction

Nestled at the foot of the Kleinrivier Mountains, the Fernkloof Lodge has a fantastic view of the Hermanus Golf Course and is within easy reach of the main town and several hiking trails.

This three-roomed bed & breakfast is the perfect destination for both adventure-seekers and relaxation lovers, all you have to do is ask your hosts for advice on how to create the holiday of your dreams – they’ll be happy to help.

There are two en-suite bedrooms and a fully equipped self-catering apartment if you’d rather cook for yourself, although we’re not sure you should; Hermanus is known for its delicious fresh seafood and wine, so we’d suggest eating out as much as possible!

Facilities

The guest house is elegant and warm; it’s a really comfortable place to stay. Spend some time strolling through the beautiful gardens or relaxing on the patio. Take a dip in the swimming pool if you get too hot during the summer months.

Every morning, the lodge serves a delicious full English breakfast. This will set you up for the day ahead, especially if you’re going to take part in some of Hermanus’ exciting activities like wakeboarding, whale watching, shark cage diving or exploring the Fernkloof Nature Reserve.

Make sure you have a swing at the Hermanus Golf Course; it’s really close, so you don’t have an excuse not to. The lodge is happy to help arrange these activities, just ask and the owners will contact the providers for you.
