Some of the suites at Hartford House are in the manor house itself, others are constructed separately; some have fantastic views of the lake and some of the most comfortable rooms are right by the cool pool. Facilities
This hotel is a little unusual, claiming to be ‘the only world-class hotel on a world-class racehorse stud in the world’. You can book a tour (on horseback) around the hotel’s estate to get your bearings – it’s well worth it. Have dinner at the incredible hotel restaurant. There are dining areas overlooking the lovely gardens and inside the beautiful candle-lit dining hall.
The hotel is happy to book tours and activities for visitors. You could try trout and bass fishing during your stay or walking around the estate’s game conservancy. Spend time in the hotel swimming pool and at the tennis court, then head out to the nearby golf courses to practice your swing.
