Back in the day, La Petite Dauphine was simply a working fruit and wine farm. Today, it’s also an incredible and luxurious nine-roomed country retreat in the heart of South Africa’s winelands. It’s surrounded by stunning scenery; the views of the sun-kissed orchards, vibrant vineyards, cool lake and the Franschhoek mountains will take your breath away. The farmhouse is only a few kilometres away from the town of Franschhoek, so it’s a great place for exploring this famous area.
La Petite Dauphine has six Luxury suites, two Exclusive Villa suites and a Junior Studio Suite for you to choose from. No matter what you opt for, you’ll have a comfortable and luxurious stay. The suites all have access to a shared pool, but if you choose a villa suite you’ll get a private deck area and pool all to yourself. This might be good if you’re looking for a little privacy during this trip.
Facilities
The Café BonBon is on site and serves delicious meals all day long. This includes Franschhoek wines and Cape flavours, so you’ll know you’ll be getting a local experience with every bite.
Where possible, the restaurant uses ingredients grown on site in the organic food garden. The hotel’s fertile soil means that every bite will be delicious. The cafe is set in a rustic cellar, so has a quaint cosy vibe that you’re bound to enjoy.
