Awe-Inspiring Africa: Cape Town, the Okavango & Beach time in Seychelles
This 12 night South Africa, Botswana and beach itinerary travels from Cape Town to the Okavango Delta before continuing to the paradise of Seychelles, combining city, safari and island time in one varied journey. It’s ideal for travellers looking to experience contrast across landscapes and destinations.
From Cape Town’s coastline and surrounding Winelands to water-based safaris in the Delta and time by the sea at the journey’s end, each stage offers a distinct setting, creating a route shaped by contrasts rather than pace.
The itinerary below is shown as an example route. Every journey we create is planned from scratch and can be shaped entirely around you — unless you like it exactly as it is.
- Day 1 - Overnight Flight
The day is here! Enjoy your overnight flight to South Africa!
- Day 2 - Cape Town
On arrival a BC representative will be waiting to welcome you to the country, right off the plane and will then whisk you through fast track.
From here it's a transfer to your boutique and a night at leisure in the Mother City.
- Day 3 - Cape Town
Today we've included tickets for you on the world famous Table Mountain cable car, so head to the foot of the mountain where you'll board your funicular to the top.
Note you can use the tickets on any afternoon (post 1pm) that you like!!
- Day 4 - Cape Town
There's so many experiences we can arrange for you here.
Head deep into the Cape winelands to sample the finest drops in Africa, take in a peninsula tour visiting the penguin colony at Boulder's beach, or soak in the history and legacy of Robben Island - and these are just some of the options!
- Day 5 - Okavango Delta
Today you switch locations and head further via a scenic light aircraft flight to one of the most iconic safari locations in the world - the Okavango Delta.
- Day 6 - Okavango Delta
Enjoy morning and evening safari activities today as you keep an eye out for some the 'big 5' - lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo & rhino.
If you fancy a pampering between drives, make use of the luxurious onsite spa at your lodge.
- Day 7 - Okavango Delta
Head out on a boat trip across this wetland wilderness to encounter iridescent dragonflies, jewel-coloured kingfishers, hippos and honey badgers along the banks of the many waterways and lagoons.
- Day 8 - Seychelles
Time for a change of pace as you head to the paradise archipelago nation of Seychelles.
You'll be welcomed like a VIP with a welcome drink and refreshing towel at the airport, before heading to your hotel.
- Day 9 - Seychelles
Enjoy a full day at leisure to relax on one of the island's spectacular white sandy beaches.
Snorkelling is a wonderful way to spend the day. As is a boat trip to visit deserted tropical islands, home only to roaming giant tortoises.
- Day 10 - Seychelles
Your last day at leisure in paradise - Enjoy!
- Day 11 - Overnight Flight
You'll be transferred back to the airport today by a local guide for your onward flight.
