Upon arrival at Luang Prabang airport you will be greeted by your guide who transfer you to your hotel.

In the afternoon, take a walking tour exploring some of the this legendary town, starting with a visit to the former Royal Palace.

In the morning you will be transferred to Luang Nam Tha to check into The Boat Landing Hotel.

Your kayaking journey starts today on the somewhat challenging Nam Ha River.

Trek through the lush forests of the Nam Ha National Protected Area.

You'll spend this evening with a local family.

Your adventure continues onto the mighty Nam Tha River to Sin Oudom where you'll spend the evening with an ethnic Samtao tribe.

Today's leg is about 25km to the a Khmu village where we will organise another homestay.

It's striking how different the way of life can be just a few clicks down river.

Onwards to Nalae where your group will stay in a local guesthouse.

Give your arms a rest as you take a motorboat to the dam.

Explore this verdant land before settling in for another night with a local family.

Back in the Kayak today, you'll notice the river widening as you go along.

Tonight, it's camping under the stars with dinner by the fire.

Today, you'll reach the mighty Mekong. Time to abandon the Kayaks and head for Huayxai by motor boat. After a few days spent in campsites and homestays, a hot shower and a comfortable bed in a hotel is in order.

Time to hit the capital. After a short domestic flight you'll arrive in laid-back Vientiane.

This evening you'll head out on a 'dinner safari' by Tuk Tuk, sampling a variety of local dishes.

You'll have a bit of chill out time before being transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
