Introduction

Boasting first-class views of the Atlantic Ocean, The Stiltz offers a unique style of accommodation near Swakopmund. Small and homely, this guesthouse is built in a way you may never have seen before – on stilts that sit 3.5 metres above the riverbed!

The Stiltz is situated in a peaceful location and is around a 15-minute walk from the buzz of the nearby town.

Guests here are accommodated in a range of wooden bungalows – so, you’ll still feel as though you are part of a community, whilst having your own privacy and space.

There are seven twin bungalows, one double, two villas which can accommodate up to six people, plus a family unit to choose from.

All bungalows are decorated with unique interiors showcasing natural wood and African art, and are finished with colourful soft furnishings and accessories.

Facilities

Grab a bite to eat in the mornings in the breakfast room, where you can enjoy exquisite views of the river through the large panoramic windows.

Note that dinner is not served here, but this shouldn’t be much of a problem as there are plenty of restaurants nearby where you can have your evening meal. Staff are also more than happy to book you a table at these restaurants, on request.

There is free Wi-Fi available to all guests throughout the hotel. Vehicle hire can also be arranged, so you can explore more of the local surroundings with ease.

If you wish to take part in any activities during your stay, a selection of excursions can be booked by the knowledgeable staff, they will be happy to recommend day-trips that best suit your interests.
