Introduction

The Arathusa Safari Lodge is one of the best places to go animal spotting, as there’s a very high concentration of game in the Sabi Sand Wildtuin area. The lodge is located right next to a large watering hole that draws animals from across the reserve.

There’s a very good chance of seeing the ‘big five’, so keep an eye out for lions, leopards, African buffalo, elephants and rhinos. It’s also a great area for birdwatchers, so have a look to see what you can spot flying around.

The 13 rooms here are luxurious and have a distinctly African feel. You can choose whether your room faces the water or the bush, and this choice will mark the start of your adventure at the Arathusa Safari Lodge.
