Introduction
This luxury five-star game lodge offers an unforgettable safari experience. Located on a rocky ridge where guests can see into the Madikwe Game Reserve, this resort is situated amongst open woodlands, plains and forestry.
You’ll have the chance to spot over 28 species of mammal, including the famous ‘big five’. ‘Impodimo’ in Tswana means ‘the gift of God’ and you’ll certainly understand why when you arrive here. Eight gorgeous glass-fronted chalets make up the Impodimo Game Lodge, which offers wide-spanning countryside views as far as the eye can see.
Most chalets are fitted with twin beds, but a king-size bed is available on request. Each chalet features an en-suite bathroom and an outdoor shower, where you can truly take in the wonderful surroundings. Full air-conditioning is installed and there is a mini-bar and mini-safe in each bedroom.
If you choose to stay in the deluxe suite, you’ll have the added bonus of a lounge and dining room, your very own private plunge pool and an outdoor decking area.
Facilities
The lodge has its own on-site dining area, where you can choose to eat either indoors or outdoors, as well as a communal plunge pool, curio and gift shop and wine cellar. Guests can also choose to unwind by spending an afternoon indulging in a treatment at the spa.
As the lodge is at the centre of the Game reserve, you may wish to take part in an early morning game drive, which is the best time to see wildlife. There are also opportunities to go bush walking, hiking, bush dining and wine tasting during your stay.
